Standard Cockapoo Puppies, Summer 2013

This was our first try at this unique cross-breed. Cockapoo's are intelligent,
friendly and hypoallergenic by nature. It's no wonder they are sought out to such extent. 


Most Cockapoo's are a mix of a Cocker Spaniel with either a Miniature or Toy Poodle. These mixes tend to be smaller and can take on many of the hyper-active characteristics of small breed poodles.


Our summer 2013 litter is special because the mother is a Standard Poodle. Most standard poodles have a weight range of about 45 - 60 lbs. Our girl weighs roughly 40 lbs, so we are not expecting these puppies to be large adults. Cocker Spaniels are medium size with the father of this litter being about 30 lbs. This should give us a range of about 25 - 35 lbs making this breed extra special.


It is almost impossible to find this particular breed due to the complicated breeding practice. Specific characteristics are required from both the mother and father in order for this to be possible.
